The Sedona Heritge Museum is a special place for weddings, meeting groups
and private parties. We exhibit historic photographs and artifacts from
Sedona’s early days including the town’s namesake –
Sedona Schnebly, the golden era of western movies, cowboys and ranching,
the local fruit orchard business, wagons and vintage vehicles, and special
exhibits.
The Museum is housed in the
designated Historic Landmark home, fruit packing shed and tractor shed
of the Jordan family. Our Gift Shop has locally made art and crafts. We
are operated by the Sedona Historical Society and located in Jordan Historical
Park. The Museum sits above Uptown Sedona and offers spectacular red rock
views in a quiet residential setting.
- First, we offer a museum admission discount when groups of 10 or more
attend. Regular admission is $3. Group discount tickets are $2. (Advance
purchases requested.) We accept Visa and Mastercard.
- Second, we offer guided tours by reservation. Our regular hours are
11:00 am to 3:00 pm, but other times and a dedicated tour guide are
available with advance notice. All our tour specials must be arranged
with at least seven days notice. We accept MasterCard and Visa.
- Bus parking and turn-around is available at our entrance. By prior
arrangement a golf cart to chauffeur any visitors who can’t walk
the short driveway to the Museum is available, and our restrooms meet
the ADA.
- We can help you arrange for box or catered lunches to be waiting for
your group in the fruit packing shed and even a speaker or a showing
of the ‘History of Sedona’ video. Picnic tables are available
in the park. We have a residential kitchen in the house (no commercial
kitchen).
- We have a changing room available for the bride and other amenities
upon request.
- We have folding tables and chairs to seat 100+ in the fruit packing
shed. Our red bandana table clothes are available if suitable for the
event. We have a good quality PA system with a portable mike and an
8’x12’ stage on request. Price list and contract available
upon request.
- We are housed in a City park so there are certain limits we must work
within, i.e., no alcohol is allowed and no events after dark. A refundable
security deposit is required.
A
visit to the Museum and Park is a wonderful way to experience Sedona’s
origins and history in our beautiful orchard setting. Let us know if we
can help you arrange a pre-event visit the next time you are in Sedona.
We look forward to hosting you.
